Summer 2017 Schedule & Information

Look through the powerful observatory telescope and discover more about the planets, stars, and our universe!

*Following a 20-minute astronomy presentation (see topics below), we’ll visit the observatory and look through the telescope*

May 6, 9:00 PM: “Our Place in Space”

June 3, 1:00 PM: “What is the Universe Made Of?”

July 1, 9:00 PM: “Planetary Nebulae: The Most Beautiful Objects in Space”

Aug. 5, 1:00 PM: “All About Eclipses and the Upcoming Solar Eclipse”


Climbing stairs will be necessary.

No reservations or tickets are required.

*Weather permitting

All attendees will receive a free pair of solar observing glasses — good for viewing the solar eclipse in August.
